Even if it really "didn't amount to much of anything" (newsflash, crap-for-brains. it did.) that the media is making it sound like a big deal... is good.
it wasn't 1776. which probably thousands of 'pedes' and people all across the internet were larping that it would be. i'm pretty sure there was actual force and even the bad nono 'v' word in the actual revolution. that's why it was called a war. nowdays we 'fight' our wars by memeing and fantasizing that we 'kicked some ass' or whatever. maybe we should set up a fortnight tourney and do that as the civil war or something. just a big gay video game war.
