I'm still in NYC, where I was born, where I've always been. But I don't recognize the place any more. It's time to go. I have the funds and I can make it happen.

Where can I go? I won't be happy in a rural area where I need to drive half an hour to the nearest tiny town. Are there small or medium-sized cities out there where an ex-New Yorker can be welcomed? Are there places where people like us are gathering?

Am I kidding myself? Is this Germany, 1933, and my family and I should be getting out of Dodge, entirely?

I'm dead serious, pedes. I don't know where to go. We can't stay here. It's not safe and things have already hit the skids, and they're picking up speed every single day.

I should add that I don't care about marching and protesting. Let people exercise their 1st amendment -- let 'em all march, Commies, Nazis, and any other kind of kook who wants to parade around. Just let them stay peaceful and if they don't, let the cops do their jobs. That's all I ask.
