I do believe we are talking about deep fake on the Trump video - it seems like a manipulated video tome, but that's not really the point I want to make. What just occurred to me is much more sinister.
My theory is that deep fake is how they are going to prop up Biden. Think about it. They can post videos of him speaking - saying ANYTHING they want him to say. He doesn't even have to be coherent for the next 4 years. They can hide him in a closet and push out a video from time to time, saying he's afraid of Covid, so that's why he's not seen out in public.
I didn't want to be tinfoil, so I held my tongue, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the way Trump's head was in that video was all wrong. It could be that this is the first time I'd seen him truly dejected and turtling inward, but I can't shake how anatomically weird his posture was. I don't know anything about advanced video editing, so I have no idea about that; I only know body language, and it seemed not just "off" but off in a way that seemed anatomically improbable, like pasted-on wrong. I'm not given to hope porn; that's not what's going on here - the posture just seemed very wrong to me. Like I said, I may be totally off base, and he may be someone who does extreme turtling when feeling defeated, but just throwing this out there.
I'm certainly no expert on deep fake technology, but I have watched and editing a HELL of a lot of video in my time. This just looks weird to me, and I don't mean artifacts or green screens or anything like that. I mean the shape of the mouth, the general expression, the eyes, the way the head is attached to the body. It just seems WRONG to me. I can't really explain it more than that, and I certainly can't give a technical reason why I think that way. It's the same way I feel when I watch a movie with tons of CGI. It doesn't seem natural.
I am an expert in computer vision and that video was fake. Multiple pixel perfect "exact match" facial expressions aligned exactly to the keyframes in totally different timestamps. It's impossible, there are other problems too. But your gut is right.
If you can tell that this video is CGI then you are more perceptive than the 99.9%.
