Based is a slang term that originally meant to be addicted to crack cocaine (or acting like you were), but was reclaimed by rapper Lil B for being yourself and not caring what others think of you—to carry yourself with swagger.
Based has now evolved a bit further and more means people who say what they mean and mean what they say.
But pede effectively means TDW supporters. I'm not super versed on the meme-ology behind it, though.
And also the fact that the left finds us deplorable, disgusting, dangerous. A centipede is to be feared and respected. They are stealthy, very dangerous, and strike incredibly fast.
