Why take a direct path (if this is the case), if going to Offutt? The last part of the flight once turned was likely 20 mins or so and that would have been enough to have F35s already swept Offutt area with a few around the bird for air support.

So, if he was on that plane then the plane 'split the difference' and instead of a hard west turn they turned hard east and were to Offutt in less than 30 mins with air support. Why not take a direct flight path straight from TX to Offutt? Why fly around Kansas? In its previous flights, it flew direct.

Just looked into Offutt AFB... its in the dead middle of the country.
If the insurrection act is going to get pulled from the secondary site for nuclear control, this is the base that will do it.
It also happens to be THE base that organized the two times we did use nuclear weapons.
