Here's the thing, even if you are an atheist, preserving faith is good for the community. Religion, Christianity in this case, is paramount for inuring a people against hostilities.
My own faith has taken a roller coaster ride throughout my life. I started christian when I was young, then went through my rebellious phase and went atheist. The atheist phase lead me to 4chan in the early 2000s (which I now truly believe was God leading me back to the faith). And now I am back to my christian faith, but not insititutionalized faith (because where I live the church is cucked).
My faith is personal, and so much more pious for it.
