Wishful thinking, but there is no going back to normal. It took only a few months for us to be locked down and forced to wear masks (and eventually vaccines). It took them only this long to normalize this tyrannical lockdown and brainwash their useful idiots into adoring it. Just look how people react to even disabled people who wish to shop for groceries without a mask.
I can't imagine how this country is going to look like in for years. There is no ignoring it. You can't just turn off the news and ignore your rights being stripped and the cultural landscape changing around you.
