The plan was for us to go to DC to pressure Mike Pence into doing the right thing. The success of the entire plan hinged on Pence not cucking. Pence cucked therefore, the plan failed. Since the plan failed, Trump asked us to go home.
Ok, I didn't realize the plan was to put pressure on Pence. Maybe I'm not paying enough attention but I didn't realize we were pressuring Pence until Trump tweeted he hopes he does the right thing.
I'm sure Trump knew deep down inside that Pence wasn't trustworthy. That's why he needed us.

Here's a possibility: He calls us all to DC on the 6th to show everyone (including us) how many of us there are.
Then, we're there to encourage Pence and the "Weak Republicans" (Trump's words during his speech) to take their last chance to do what is right.
Then Antifa breach the Capitol, which is planned in order to attempt to make the rest of us look bad, and the corrupt Congress proceed as they had always planned, blaming us with some bullshit.
Trump leaves because now he's got shit to do. He has to take the final option. Congress has made its choice. He tells us to go home and not to be violent because that's not what this was for and it doesn't help him at this juncture.
Now we wait and see.

You just have to accept the fact that Biden will be your president after 20th, no magic plan exists right now. It seems Trump really wanted to go only through the legal path and it failed because of all the corruption in the system which without Trump would have never been revealed. My take is that he wanted to pressure Pence with his supporters to do the right thing which he unfortunately didnt do and portion of the crowd went crazy which I understand and at the same time condemn the violent actions which might cost Trump his future path to make America great again.
