Courts aren't on our side.

williammcfadden 182 points ago +184 / -2

Plenty of attorneys would take this case.

I can see plenty of lawyers not wanting to represent people that Congress have labelled domestic terrorists.

Who cares what a bunch of traitors call you?

18

This is coming from congress, not CNN.

It matters.

Congress is illegitimate

Dr0neRec0very 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hard to say how long they've been 'rigging' their own cabal members into power here. It's been generations, for sure. I hope it hasn't been the entire time, but it's been a long time.

37
PhD_in_everything 37 points ago +38 / -1

As I said. Traitors.

-17
streakybacon -17 points ago +9 / -26

Yeah that's nice I am not really in the mood for edge today. If they are traitors why are you transitioning power to them on the 20th?

And what makes you think they intend on allowing you to live freely? You can call them traitors all you want but until you're winning and they're losing, you're the one that's going to be treated like a traitor while they laugh and drink wine on Tik Tok.

13
vicentezo04 13 points ago +17 / -4

Grow a damn spine. If you only did things you knew would be successful, then you have no place in MAGA.

-1
streakybacon -1 points ago +9 / -10

I don't think you get what I'm saying. Good luck finding representation when they are actively labelling us domestic terrorists. The comment was in response to someone saying plenty of attorneys would take this case.

I disagree. Even the President of the United States is disavowing these people. It's possible they won't even be granted due process.

4
morethanaconquerer2 4 points ago +5 / -1

That's because Antifa broke in and the mob effect came into play. It was clearly a false flag, the deep state are scared shitless because he is STILL in power.

They are attempting the 25th, impeachment, while attempting to strip him of his powers.

If there is only what, 12 days left, why are they freaking out so bad? None of that shit is coming to fruition, they are only attempting to stir up their base to riot once Trump ends this shit.

They know what's coming and are desperately attempting to prevent it.

Trump never conceded, he said he will not resign, if he was done and over it, don't you think he would resign and walk away? He hasn't.

He said a transition to a new administration. I doubt Pence will be with him after committing treason on video. So a Trump/insert new VP and we have a new administration.

Do you really think the deep state will let him live if he walks away? What about his family?

You're not thinking this through.

Unfortunately, you're right. Many states have "at will" policies, giving them the power to fire you for no reason. It never hurts to speak with a lawyer though, just to see if you do have any legal recourse.

3
2016TrumpMAGA 3 points ago +4 / -1

"At will" isn't really 'at will.' There are hundreds of things an employer can do during the course of employment that negate their ability to fire 'at will.'

3
ParadigmShift2070 3 points ago +4 / -1

Remember who supported at will employment? That's right rinos

2

Some states, like California, Colorado, New York, North Dakota and Louisiana, say it’s illegal to retaliate against an employee for their off-duty participation in politics or political campaigns.

Ha... law... that thing they don't follow and get away with it every time. It's our fault we let them.

We're literally being purged for our support of Trump. I personally say GOOD. Now people will wake up that this SHIT is literally your life or death. it's not a fucking game anymore and you can't keep dodging it because you had a comfy job and wanted to keep it.

Prepare to fight because once enough people are forcibly disenfranchised there will be a hell unleashed like never before.

39
TheMadManDidItAgain 39 points ago +39 / -0

Sounds good..... but it's all one sided. "off-duty participation in politics" really means "off-duty participation in liberal supported causes"

that's one less thing they can use to control you with fear- losing your job. I also got laid off but not because of anything trump related. Its given me an opportunity to make youtube videos and actually attend my first trump rally yesterday.

2
wtsnaks 2 points ago +2 / -0

It was Trump related. Directly related to how they crashed the economy with the china virus

3

yes you're right !

42
nycsalty1soldier 42 points ago +42 / -0

this is a problem everywhere... Trump supporter are been target! many lost there jobs.. ( they don't get it... nothing to lose, meaning more protest in the future )

11
Johnfox13 11 points ago +11 / -0

What are they trying to accomplish?

More work creates more conservatives. If you remove a conservative who works his tail off, the other fat fuck commies have to step in or hire another conservative (which they won’t do) just fucking say you supported Trump and went to the rally at your interviews. This is the way. Don’t be ashamed

Can still file for wrongful termination if it was politically motivated in many states.

3
DrVSGGEOTUSPhD 3 points ago +4 / -1

Are you sure they can fire you for This? Maybe you can cash in? Maybe there's some kind of pro bono lawyer bros out there, or an ambulance chaser that will work on spec?

16

Please stop saying this. It discourages people from trying to get justice and perpetuates the "slave to your employer" mentality.

https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/employment-at-will-definition-30022.html

For example, if your employer is subject to federal and state laws prohibiting job discrimination (as all but the smallest employers are), you cannot be fired because of certain characteristics, such as your race, religion, or gender. (For more information on discrimination, see Your Rights Against Discrimination and Harassment.) Similarly, you cannot be fired because you have complained about illegal activity, about discrimination or harassment, or about health and safety violations in the workplace (see Nolo's article Assert Your Safety Rights Without Fear of Retaliation). And you cannot be fired for exercising a variety of legal rights, including the right to take family and medical leave, to take leave to serve in the military, or to take time off work to vote or serve on a jury.

At-will employment means they don't have to provide a just reason for firing you. It doesn't mean they can fire you for any reason. And if they do fire you for a reason prohibited above (such as exercising your legal right to protest), you have a claim.

6
hectorspector 6 points ago +6 / -0

At-Will employment means they can fire you for no reason, which is very different from "any reason". If they told him they fired him for what he said they fired him for, he may, depending on his state, have a case.

How do we set up the MAGA job network?

We need to only hire our people, and only purchase goods from our people!

I'm going to spend all my free time figuring this out. Dedicate yourselves people! We have to help each other in this demonic world that is coming, and is in many ways already here!

Lawsuit time my friend. Time for you to win an early, company funded, retirement.

Businesses cannot fire you over political orientation, they are now open for a lawsuit.

14
AdamSmith1776 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yup - track EVERYTHING - get any evidence you can. If you have a computer at home save any emails you have on a non-company device.

It’s a hard thing to prove but if you have proof (like a smoking gun email from a manager saying “because you went to the rally.”) get ready for a 10 figure payday and martinis.

1

Depends a lot on the state honestly. I've straight up sacked libs with no repercussion in my state.

On what grounds? It's not 1A, and political affiliation isn't protected class. I would know, I've fired subordinates for being libs.
