Sue the shit out of them. They need a reason to fire you!
Not in an at will state
Can still file for wrongful termination if it was politically motivated in many states.
Are you sure they can fire you for This? Maybe you can cash in? Maybe there's some kind of pro bono lawyer bros out there, or an ambulance chaser that will work on spec?

. "In many states, you can't fire someone for off-duty conduct, as long as they're not bringing it into the office."
Stay strong pede. The company you worked for sounds like complete shit. I’m hopeful you find work quick.
If they specifically state that it was politically motivated, it can be a lawsuit.
Correct
Then you fuck up the CEO's and the Owners!
Please stop saying this. It discourages people from trying to get justice and perpetuates the "slave to your employer" mentality.

At-will employment means they don't have to provide a just reason for firing you. It doesn't mean they can fire you for any reason. And if they do fire you for a reason prohibited above (such as exercising your legal right to protest), you have a claim.
At-Will employment means they can fire you for no reason, which is very different from "any reason". If they told him they fired him for what he said they fired him for, he may, depending on his state, have a case.
