this is what really has me wondering. these republicans have to know that no Trump supporter is ever going to vote for anyone who refused to stand up and object on Wednesday. their political careers are over. why did they sacrifice that, something they care about more than pretty much anything, for something they know is a lie?
I imagine they were promised the return of the uniparty/controlled opposition and they would rig them a few more re-elections if they remained obedient.
