Liberals have gone scorched earth and are raiding lawmakers offices and arresting anyone who opposes them, and are starting the process to expel any political rival.
We have gone from MAGA to socialist purge in 72 hours.
Maybe going into the capitol and LARPing didn't work out so well.
There is plenty of video evidence from that day that shows there were MANY patriots there that thought that it was a very bad idea.
Sane people like myself watched live streams horrified, knowing this was not going to end well.
And It has not.
When the people in front started to break down the doors, the people behind them should have stopped them. Rioting and vandalism never served any useful purpose for us.
What I think Trump envisioned was a giant, massive rally crowd that would dominate the scene peacefully...like a rally. And Pence would do his thing and the bad guys would lose and we would all cheer. Trump did not intend for there to be riots. (The left, of course, was delighted. All of the leftist players ran around acting terrified for the camera while rioters did the heavy lifting of establishing the narrative.)
Somehow they got to Pence. I think Pence was the pivot. Shame he didn't listen to the story of Judas Iscariot in Sunday school, I guess.
