Encrypted apps are all well and good until you get someone from the fedlys up in your group, then they throw money around and flip some of your compatriots and then boom you get arrested for plotting a bombing you didn't even know you wanted to do.
Also if you look at the source code for Telegram and Signal they go through Google and Amazon cloud servers, which is where the encryption and message exchange happen...so what could possibly go wrong there? /sar
