He's talking about decentralization. It's great for preventing censorship and outside interference. I haven't messed with zeronet too much so I can't say, but starting a decentralized server off of gnusocial or mastodon is not too hard and we can run as many as we want.
this doesnt prevent censorship in the longrun, anything that is susceptible to a 51% attack means whoever controls the majority of the node, controls the entire network.
