Yep. Some call it stuff like the "Lord's Supper", but it's the same thing and not usually limited to the denomination (like Catholics limit it to Catholics in good standing). Usually grape juice instead of wine for Protestants (a few can use wine, like Episcopalians iirc).

Haven’t attended a service in years but still occasionally get their newsletters and emails and have yet to see whew, if any new people involved in any leader ship role in at least five years
As a Christian, repentance is just a normal part of communion. You should repent of all sins prior to partaking. Also, I doubt he's actually going to ask each congregant before they're allowed to participate.
