Frankly, I'm upset we didn't hold our position, hold the line, fortify the Capitol Building, take the gavel, send back the electors ourselves, and pass some meaningful legislation and send some scouts to go hunt the traitors in the underground tunnels and gas them out of there with their own tear gas they always use on us.
Instead we went inside, took some selfies, mocked our corrupt coward politicians, reminded them who is really boss, didn't break or deface any statues or paintings, and then left peacefully. The only people being violent were police. Don't let lying politicians and fake propagandist corporate news liars rewrite history.
My issue with it - even though it was clearly NOT a riot - is that it gave them such an easy way out. It was highly unlikely they would do the right thing in the end, but by giving them this so-called insurrection, they had the perfect excuse to just ignore the fraud and shut down giving any evidence, plus a way to go after Trump again.
