WARNING: DOING THIS COULD VOID WARRANTY ON APPLE DEVICES, DO AT YOUR OWN DISCRESSION

  1. download IPA file at https://www.ipa4fun.com/ipa/325424/

  2. Now Connect your device to your PC.

  3. go to Window → Devices

  4. Then, the Devices screen will appear. Choose the device you want to install the app on.

  5. Drag and drop your . ipa file into the Installed Apps or anywhere on the device info windows

  6. A message will pop up calling the app's developer "Untrusted" and saying that the app cannot be used on your iPhone. Hit "Cancel" to clear the message.

  7. Launch the Settings app and go to the "General" tab.

  8. Scroll to and tap the "Profiles" tab, which might be called "Device Management." Navigate to the Profiles tab in your General settings.

  9. Under a section titled "ENTERPRISE APP" you will see the untrusted app in question. Tap it.

  10. On the next page, hit the words "Trust Name of App.."

  11. Confirm your choice, and if prompted hit the words "Verify App" to confirm your confirmation.

You can now go back to the home screen where the app icon is displayed and launch it just as you would with any app downloaded from the App Store.

Or just have an android

jubyeonin 5 points ago +7 / -2

This. You can do more on Android. Apple is 100% proprietary.

socal_maga 6 points ago +7 / -1

Android is a Google product.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

there's tutorials to degooglfy your android. It used to be an open source, it can be done again

at least it is much harder for them to censor you.

jubyeonin 1 point ago +2 / -1

Open source. Apple is not. It's easier to do things with Android than Apple. Apple owns the hardware and the software and doesn't want you to use either one differently.

jpower 3 points ago +3 / -0

I love Android, but it is owned by Google. Don't think Google won't find ways of cracking down.

u/Vivere_Pericoloso already covered it. Android comes from open source. People know how to remove Google from it. Apple has always owned both hardware and software for Apple.

Fuck Android. I was a hardcore Android user since the HTC Hero came out. Android is insecure as fuck. Avoid it like the plague.

You’re better off in Apple’s walled garden. If you think Apple’s bullshit equals a fraction of what Google does, you’re trippin. Even if Google were the saint of a company they used to claim they were, I’d still use Apple for security reasons alone.

if you do some searches for Parler IPA you can find other sites that provide the files for the Parler application

4
Olds77 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is dangerous to provide as the only place the app should be downloaded is directly from Parler if it comes to that. A bad actor can introduce malware, keyloggers and so much else into the device folks keep their banking information, email and so much more. You have no idea that app wasn't infected or altered.

Aambrick 0 points ago +0 / -0

What makes you think the government doesn't have that information. Google and Facebook alone have been selling that information out for years.

2
Olds77 2 points ago +2 / -0

The whole point is some left wing jerkoff or bad actor can now gain the login info from your technologically inept uncle, aunt or parents to their banking accounts, email accounts and so much more. Cleaning them out or emailing their relatives and friends for money to clean them out. If you're going to download apps like this they better come from the site that makes them or an extremely reputable one.

I would assume that Parler homebase could soon enough (if they haven't already) provide a safe location to Apple users for the .ipa. Folks should certainly check there and do the necessary research before grabbing it from anywhere unknown or apparently safe at face.

FORGOT TO RESEARCH THIS PART. DOWNLOAD OF ANY SOFTWARE OFF 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE COULD VOID WARRANTY. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN DISCRESSION

Or just ditch Apple outright coz fuck em?

2
Michael032817 2 points ago +2 / -0

They knocked Parler down. I can’t even get on it.

2
based_female_in_tech 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gab is all fucky, too. I think it may just be from the number of people trying to join since Trump got suspended, though. It costs a lot of money to scale fast enough to accommodate that many users.

1
Michael032817 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah the scaling is certainly difficult. Still appears to be under attack at times. Not quite like what happened here on the Donald. I haven’t seen anything like what happened to Parler tonight. I completely agree with you though. They are gonna struggle migrating everyone.

KoofNoof 1 point ago +1 / -0

also if you already have the app, you're good right? They would just remove it from the App Store

1
ElPimentoDeCheese 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah. I had the InfoWars app on mine after they removed it.

1
Dontdoxxxmeplease 1 point ago +1 / -0

Literally just download it before they ban it have plenty of “banned” apps I downloaded before they got banned and they work fine...!?

TropArtic1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wait is apple removing it from the app store or pulling the plug on the app entirely? They dont have rhat ability

1
PeabodyJFranklin 1 point ago +1 / -0

App store. Since you can't readily sideload apps by just checking the "Allow installation from unknown sources" like on Android, you need to either root your device to use Cydia (or whatever's current), or follow the above instructions to load an app like a developer would do.

Does this void the warranty?

Could also just get a droid. :p

2
20KAG20 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just saying, fuck a warranty at this point pede.

1
Synesthesia34 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

yes, this could void your warranty. apple sucks ass

1
Olds77 1 point ago +1 / -0

And infect it with malware. I don't know why people would insist on an app. If Parler doesn't offer it directly for download I don't know why anyone would trust that it was clean.

The website works great and phones are only getting better and better with bigger screens that make it easy. Maybe the notifications aren't there, but that's about it.

1
The_End_Is_Now 1 point ago +1 / -0

Parler app is no longer working on my iphone but works fine if you go directly to the website.

I DID NOT jailbreak my phone.

Synesthesia34 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

phone number is the only way to keep Parler from being bogged down by false accounts. if its a real issue I use an app called Burner that creates a burner number that my phone can use. you have to pay for it unfortunately but its like $5 a month and it creates a new number for you each month
