if you do some searches for Parler IPA you can find other sites that provide the files for the Parler application

This is dangerous to provide as the only place the app should be downloaded is directly from Parler if it comes to that. A bad actor can introduce malware, keyloggers and so much else into the device folks keep their banking information, email and so much more. You have no idea that app wasn't infected or altered.

What makes you think the government doesn't have that information. Google and Facebook alone have been selling that information out for years.

The whole point is some left wing jerkoff or bad actor can now gain the login info from your technologically inept uncle, aunt or parents to their banking accounts, email accounts and so much more. Cleaning them out or emailing their relatives and friends for money to clean them out. If you're going to download apps like this they better come from the site that makes them or an extremely reputable one.

I would assume that Parler homebase could soon enough (if they haven't already) provide a safe location to Apple users for the .ipa. Folks should certainly check there and do the necessary research before grabbing it from anywhere unknown or apparently safe at face.
