If he doesn't start pardoning people arrested for the Capitol protest, I would say that yes, he did abandon us. A woman was murdered over that. A cop was killed. Most of those people, other than pushing through the barricades, didn't look like they did anything violent. They just wanted their representatives to HEAR them. They didn't burn down a Starbucks or loot a Target. They went to petition their government for the redress of very legitimate grievances.
