He's always 'gotten it.' But he definitely built his position on remaining detached at all cost. He's certainly not stupid if success for any other reason than showing cleavage is a measure.

The problem I see is he wants to present unbiased journalism and I'd applaid that, but he can't resist clickbaiting the shit outta people just to pitch his softball opinion pieces while acting like a moral prodigy. Its bizarre really.

If he stuck to news and didn't interject with his own willfully panzified opinions it wouldn't be so unpalatable. If he didn't use his podcasts as an opportunity to beat his own friends over the head with his ego it wouldn't be so goddamn cringe.

But he'll still suffer the same fate as anyone who took a stace of effectual principle.
