While you may be right to some extent about militias being larpers when they're not needed. They can easily turn into real militias rather quickly because they've built the foundation.

With the internet in danger, there will be a renewed reliance on phone numbers and addresses to keep in touch and organize. Militias will literally need secretaries once they pass a treshold of a handful of members. There's a lot everybody can do to help. Just think of it as of any other club or organization.
