There must be a surge of new users. The app isn't working for me right now either. This behavior happened during the last exodus from fb in nov.
Yep, huge flood of new users. I joined back in August and the app used to be so fast but in November it slowed down significantly with the influx of users. Hopefully they're pouring money into more infrastructure.
