I just received a message for an iPhone update. I would advise against installing it if you don't have too. Tech is not on our side. You might call me paranoid, but I like to think of myself of being cautions and prudent.

About the best you can do is a fully unlocked Android unfortunately. There are some Nokia phones that do not have Google or Apple operating systems on them.
There are also a few phones that can run Windows on them.
