I just received a message for an iPhone update. I would advise against installing it if you don't have too. Tech is not on our side. You might call me paranoid, but I like to think of myself of being cautions and prudent.

One of the places I fucked up was not organizing a tech stack to promote a year ago. I'm going to remedy that and anyone reading this with any semblance of know-how, please consider the same.

I am a programmer - mostly backend but since I own the company I help with some front end functions as well.

I've said this before and I think it is worth repeating, often. We have a UI/UX challenge. Think of the research into brain chemistry that's been done by these snakes. The FB UI/UX is horrible and they have not needed to pivot for reasons just out of my reach, however, I assume dopamine addiction makes it easier for them. Moving forward into decentralized apps through blockchain may work to create a semi-permanent and secure web infrastructure. Assuming that was not wishful thinking I have felt the true challenge lies in creating experiences that users want to engage with.

Average users have no reason or desire to migrate to a new platform. I do not think it would be difficult to defeat the user experience at FANG products. However, they have the content free fed into them from the userbase. Without the content it is difficult to create the dopamine triggers we need to sustain user loyalty and adoption.

This is the puzzle I've been thinking of for some time. It seems to me that a front end dev'd with experience in mind could work if it was groundbreaking in it's innovation. Without this we create Parler, Gab.ai, etc. Login to gab and grandma is not there but alt-right content is, and even I don't want to see that.

I believe FANG/Twitter/etc. knows this very deeply and has thought through what I'm saying in depth in planning. So the puzzle I'm trying to solve frustrates me when I get to the user adoption.

That said, tiktok did it with young women dancing. Snapchat did it with fake privacy. Discord did it with exceptional ease of use and power. There must be a way to create a decentralized app that gives users what they want.

I’m in tech as a profession.

My ideas have been geared around using something like https://ipfs.io/ as the hook. We also need a market event that would push people to something like ipfs. I feel like we are hitting that market event now.
