I recommend MeWe as well but so far it's been difficult to get family and friends to make the switch from facebook. They've been signing up for Parler probably because it's been in the news more but that really only replaces Twitter. MeWe feels like Facebook only better.
Not sure who the developers are or what they use on the backend but it is never slow at all. Zoom is an American company with China ties so who knows....
I've not heard that. I've only heard good things so far...... It seems like a good Facebook alternative for friends and family.
