If DeSantis is smart he'll become an independent and distance himself from those do nothings. He and several other's have done enough to draw support even without the backing of a corrupt arm of the uniparty.
My humble analysis. This tyranny cannot continue without the tyrants suffering some serious consequences. If you push, push, push you eventually are going to go too far and then the push back is coming and you will not be able to control it.
