I'm an "An"Cap. (That is a fan of Murray Rothbard, Hoppe, etc. I never liked Rothbard's half-serious attempt to hijack the A-word from the commies.)

But the way forward is not abolishing government but fragmenting it. Every major nation (Russia, China, USA, Ukraine, Turkey, Nigeria, etc) should be broken up into smaller parts - smaller governments are simply more responsive to market competition than large ones. And thousands (millions?) of new nations should be created, especially through seasteading.

When there's a zillion little Singapores, San Marinos, Liechtensteins, Kekistans, Ancapistans, Ronpaulvilles, Aynrandgrads, Tolkienshires, etc competing for people voting with their feet - that is the AnCap ideal, because all governance becomes voluntary.

Why do we need a government? Even a "small" one? What's the point? If they can force taxes on me and have a monopoly on violence then they violate your rights.

WE don't. But most people do. Because that's what the marketplace demands.

The average IQ in US is 97 and falling. The average in many countries is at retard-levels. NAP demands that we say: "if you like your government, you can keep it".

Most people don't live on a huge plot of land far away from their neighbors. They have lots of common infrastructure with their neighbors and voluntarily want at least neighborhood-level governance.

If they can force taxes on me and have a monopoly on violence then they violate your rights.

The tiny minority of people like us won't join a neighborhood association, charter city, etc. That could be a luxury because we could end up paying more per-capita on things like defense insurance, roads, drone delivery, etc. There is such a thing as "economy of scale". That's market reality, not force.
