How much of a techy/nerd do you have to be to make them usable? I'm reasonably tech-savvy, and good at following clear instructions. I've decided that my new phone will be a phone, not a small computer, so the only apps I plan to use on the phone will be ones that I need to use when I'm away from home. I'm already starting to switch my current phone to open-source apps from F-Droid.org, etc. I have a tablet and a computer for all of the other stuff.
What's a good android phonet I can get that can be rooted and has well developed ROMs?
