Twitter's value in controlling public discourse is well worth whatever value it's listed at. There are no campaign contributions on there and no limits on how much they can control what people can say. Billionaires would happily subsidize Twitter to shape public interest and the discourse. Bezos paid a big sum for the Washington Post just to shape public opinion.
