Communication is key for what is to come, if the worse days are ahead of us you can easily destroy a foe, AKA US by taking out means of communication. Get your Radios! don't rely on the internet, phone systems, or tv for shit. Always have a backup radio just in case, it is also good if shit never pops off for emergency broadcasts and weather!
