You can leave at any time for any reason, they can fire you at any time for any reason. That's pretty much how it rolls in my state, unless you have some specific contract otherwise. I think that policy is fine - freedom of association, and the employee could have requested a contract with specifics at the time of hire - it just sucks that its come this far that people are being terminated over this.
Someone i know was fired from his job today because the liberal outrage mob was able to identify him from video and they started harassing his employer to fire him. America is only just starting to realize these liberal fucks have been top down perpetrating an active offensive against them for years.

If you're in DC, California, or New York, I believe that political affiliation is a protected class. I know it is in DC. I worked there at one time and always took good records and accumulated evidence in case they ever fired me if they found out I wasn't a raging leftist.

However, if you go around the building.. other doors open and cops wave and say 'come on in' then they walk around with you as you walk by unlocked and unsecured rooms. Even walking into a room, handed a beer with a cop 10 feet away.
Supervisor called me this PM about suspension only saying it was in regards to events if the 6th. She was to send me formal notice via email and calling to ask questions with a second person Monday
