I think Lou was one of those people who were wary because Trump was brand new to the Republican mindset. I used to talk like Lou did, not really hating Trump but still feeling enough social pressure to say, "Get a load of that Trump guy, am I right?" Maria knew Trump so she didn't have to second guess him. Then, there were the Geraldos...
I think that's just a sign of good character, it's like Steve Bannon, even though you know he's on the side of the conservatives, he ensures he's doing his journalistic due diligence and asks for receipts when people make sweeping claims.
And heck. I love Trump, but I'm also not delusional enough to think he is perfect. He's still a human being. I want journalists to keep those in power honest. But that only works when there is unbiased reporting.... not propaganda.
He used to be really pro-American manufacturing when he was on CNN. I'm not sure how he evolved and the process he underwent to become a Trump supporter, but he seems very sincere. I love Maria and want to like Dobbs, but everyone else on Fox can go to hell.
Lou and Maria have done a good job of holding feet to the fire. That's why you see them interviewed less than the pundits on Fox's main channel.
They have both held the line! They make me proud to be an American. A couple of the last journalists working today.
Am I wrong, or did I use to get semi-anti-Trump vibes from Lou in the very beginning, before he had his eyes opened by all the injustice?
Or was Lou always this based?
I like to think it's his experience that makes it so easy for him to side with the just.

I get the feeling he's sincere too, he literally goes after the 'trump allies' when they don't give serious answers.
I love Lou.
I like Maria too, just not my cup of tea.
