You're thinking of Square, Inc., the ones that came out with the phone based credit card readers. Now they have larger POS systems that many coffee shops and food trucks use.

Stripe? Do you mean Square?

Nope, stripe. Big tech company here in Bay Area, payment infrastructure.

Wrong. Stripe is a payments processor, but it's John and Patrick Collison's outfit. They are Irish, the company is private, and they don't care about US Politics. As far as "big" with revenues last year of only 450m, they aren't that big.

Square is Dorsey's outfit.

It's Square. Stripe is a different company

Wrong, Stripe is founded and owned by John and Patrick Collison, two Irish Lads. It's a private company.

Square was founded by Dorsey and he's still the principal.

Stripe doesn't give much of a fuck about American politics.
