Same but it was my best freinds dad who had taken me under his wing a giant bear of a native american man who was very in touch with his heritage and a marine who served in Vietnam. When ever me and his son would start talking or joking he would look at us with a semitic stern look and say "shhhhh rush is on" lol we would roll our eyes a little laugh but we would listen. And as I get older I see how close to the truth he was and so blessed to be taught real skills hunting, tracking, fishing and basic survival . In all this craziness knowing I can do that for my own wife and kids has given me a bit of confidence. HOLD THE LINE PEDES. HELP YOUR NEIGHBORS AND ORGANIZE STICK TO YOUR MORALS AND WHAT YOU KNOW IN YOUR HEART IS RIGHT!
I don't listen to him much, but I've had a similar experience being exposed to Rush, interestingly enough from my liberal/socialist relative. Crazy how so much has come around later in life.
My mom listened to talk radio with him...I used to think the sam. Now I listen to it and get a little nostalgic, since my mom passed almost 12 years ago.
