I can say about DC police some asshole cop told me to take a left instead of a right 2 blocks down from where we were.
Another cop was very confrontational with me about it, like they had people testing them.
Very strange, as someone from NJ/NY I've never run across a cop like them, left me with a bad taste in my mouth, but what if they had people testing them...idk
