Crony capitalism can more accurately be described as political corporatism. Politicans sell state secrets and legislate exclusive loopholes for the big companies that lobby them to take advantage of and crush competition. Companies are forced to play ball and send lobbyists or else their competitors will and screw them out of being competitive.

I have been SCREAMING for people to see this.

Start calling them fascists, thats exactly what they are.

Both the NeoLib and NeoCon "center" are actually fascists.

It's a fake quote IIRC.

That said, it does express the "regimentation" of society that was a key aspect of Fascism.

Fascism and Communism are so similar in goals and result, that the only major difference between the two is that Fascism Partners with Corporations on it's rise to power to use them as a means to gain ever more power. Meanwhile, Communists, the purists that they are kill the corporate owners and then go through a starvation period after which they partner with corporate owners. Post starvation communism can't be distinguished from fascism.

I'm wondering... has America gone through this before everyone else? Remember the unholy alliance of the (East India) Company and the British Empire? It was instrumental in making life miserable - an oppression tag team!

Who knows what would have evolved from this "partnership" if it hadn't been stopped then ...

Remember, everything they accuse you of, is what they're doing themselves.

I don't think OP understands the context.
