Wasnt that traitor Pence a “man of God” As a Patriot who is also more agnostic I just dont see the point in praying away evil. We cant expect a God to save us from this commie scum. We need to organize and find a way to win.
Just because someone claims to be a man of God, doesn't mean they are.
Anyone can put on a MAGA hat and claim they are a Trump supporter and them commit terrible acts.... their actions shouldn't reflect badly on Trump should they?
It's the same with God. Just because people who claim to follow him do horrible things it means either they were lying about being a Christian..... or they have sinned and need to repent and ask God's forgiveness. But those sins have consequences that aren't pretty.
Now, it doesn't mean we sit back and do nothing. We pray, we ask for God's help and guidance. We pray for Trump and for God to give him wisdom, strength, and courage to make good decisions. We ask for God to open doors and create opportunities and to help us to do what needs doing.
There is an old joke about a guy that prayed to God every day to win the lottery. For years this went on. Finally, he gets to heaven and he asks God why he never answered that prayer. God tells him, well you never bought a lottery ticket.
We need to move and do things, but God guides us and steers us in the right direction.

My explanation to doubters for my belief in God is always to ask what's more ridiculous, an intelligent being creating the human body which breathes in air, pulls oxygen out, carries it through the blood to all cells of the body, along with nutrients and energy that it extracts from food, then exhaled carbon dioxide, which plants then absorb for their growth, along with light energy from a Sun that is placed at a perfect distance from our planet.......or that shit banged into each other for billions of years and then evolved into the perfect system you see today? I look at my Kids, my dog, my raspberry plants, my wife's boobs, rain, snow, watermelon, sunsets, music, and I cant possibly come up with a better explanation , so I thank God!
My explanation is shit that you really cannot explain in a "godless" scenario, you become aware that when you pray a lot or work a lot or help people out good things start happening, when you are mean to people or become a selfish hedonistic creature bad things start happening.
You reach the conclusion that, at a certain point, it can't just be a coincidence.
Not sure why, but I was somehow reminded that a few weeks ago I was playing Yahtzee with my wife and kids and something happened at some point and I had an urge to cheat when I had a moment nobody was looking, and I just chuckled to myself and thought "no, you silly goose". Not sure how people function without exercising their guiding principles regularly. That's just me, but without Faith and practicing my religion, Id be a self loathing Yahtzee cheater, and maybe worse.
I'm hopeful, but I'm just waiting to see what/if there is a plan. I hope he trusts the Military not to betray him like all the Republican politicians. To add to OP's list, the way Trump has phrased things gives me hope.... He never mentions Biden, just that he will transition to the new administration, and that he won't be at the innaguration on Jan 20th. Also "only the beginning" and mentioning repealing section 238 and building infrastructure for a Twitter competitor. This is not a guy who plans on leaving us.
