It's not that LARPers are intentionally pranking anyone. They are so caught up in their fantasy that they start acting out the fantasy in real life at the risk of looking foolish. I personally believe it is a coping mechanism that helps them feel more empowered than what they are in reality.. I think that's true for both wizard/orc and Q LARPs.
