China doesn't even have the chip manufacturing to support their own needs. I could see Gab teaming up with TSM and a Linux company like Ubuntu to make a damn good phone.

Probably won't be made in America, but I think Taiwan and South Korea are both options. Japan has some capacity, but probably not enough.

It would be good to build up some chip making capacity in the US. Not sure why it all went to Asia.

If it's made in China, it's back-door'd to China -- it's that simple.

People are saying Taiwan, but that even seems a little close to China for my liking.
