The RINOs are pouncing now that they see that Trump seems weakened because of the fraudulent election and the media smears. They want to go back to how things were before 2016, when they were excited that Jeb! could be the presidential nominee. They are trying to close the chapter on the Trump era. They don't even realize that without Trump, they would have lost to Hillary in 2016 and their party would already be dead.
