Would it be that they’re placed in positions already or possibly that they shut off access to be seen by the general public? I did notice the 1 plane off the coast there. A decoy of sorts maybe. Sorry, I’m a noob when it comes to these things. Still learning. It’s intriguing af tho. All the possibilities swirling in my head atm.
I assume this is because they're hiding the troop movements. Lots of troops just got orders, speak to someone with a close relative in the reserves/army and there's a decent chance they've been relocated elsewhere/activated/called to base.
The rank and file may have orders but I'd be surprised if they're more descriptive than where they're meant to relocate to and so forth, for the moment.
Of course if you can figure out all the troop movements you'd probably be able to guess at what is going down, but without knowing as much it's anybody on here's guess.

This indicates that either
A: There are no military aircraft in the air (stupidly unlikely)
OR
B: They have all turned off their transponders

The transponders are turned off. There is always more military air traffic than what is shown, but we just don't see it.
That makes sense. I’m a goober. I haven’t looked at many of these maps, just started paying attention recently and this is wild.
