It's best to use several browsers and segregate your activities based on sensitivity. Maybe hang onto Edge for online banking, etc but use Opera (with built-in VPN) for general browsing. Then, for anonymity, use Firefox only on I2P.

Bruh, firefox/mozilla has been compromised since Gamergate 2014. Brave seems ok

I2P, not TOR

TOR was designed by glowies for glowies, and will always be run mostly by glowies

Your work will be reset on the next update. Happens every time to me. I gave up.

I used to use Ubuntu primarily. We could dual boot Linux and Windows and only use Windows when we have to.

nope. break the update system. windows updates. update orchestrator system. disable BITS and the task scheduler. disable all of the network functions except the actual connection. windows thinks windows doesn't have network access. but other programs can use it no problem. setup the firewall for in AND out by program. only the programs you spec can get anywhere.

Y'all got me fucked up. I'm on firefox. What should I use

I use Brave on PC and phone. It has built in tracking protection and ad blocking.

If you really want to get serious, get the TOR browser and learn to use it properly.

TOR is compromised. Even handled perfectly. No longer a viable option. Been that way for a couple years now.

Bummer. I've never used it, just read a bit about it and am repeating advice I often see. Is it inherently compromised or are you referring to using it correctly? Such as not logging into your Facebook account while on it.

Intrinsically flawed. Nods are no longer secure. You can no longer jump safely no matter how meticulous you are in setting it up.

Do you recommend I2P instead? I've never heard of it.

It should be safe but then that's what we thought about tor.

Disappointing, but not surprising in Clown World.
