Everything is "compromised." Your router, your ISP, your Chinese made hardware components in your computer/phone. It's all fucked. Not being a fanboy for parler, just fine with being an internet gypsy for now. Have been since MySpace.

Many people are just going there to keep up to date. I think we all know we'll be bouncing around until something permanent we can trust pops up.

People have really got to get over this CodeMonkey dude and the fact that you all still haven't, 2 months after all this shit started, and having witnessed literally NOTHING he said come to fruition, is concerning.

I hear they want drivers license number to verify, fuck that noise. Im glad I stopped at MySpace. I did have to make a fake Facebook because of my work I manage my company’s social media crazy enough.

I checked out today, got the same feeling, didn't join.

I feel like we're being corralled like cattle somehow.

Just because "everybody" is joining Parler after getting banned by, or leaving, Twitter, don't assume it's safe. The people doing this quick switch haven't done background checks on the company, its leaders, or its funding.
