What were Hayek's influences? His concepts I have read about (very briefly from your recommendation) are against intervention in foreign affairs. I really like that. My thinking is communism is globalism. I am a localist.

One of his largest achievements in the “Austrian School of Economics” was that community planning (government spending) was typically a failure and the Free Market is best. Realize using the term Capital is Marxist, Free Market is the non Marxist term for the beat economy.

So do you think Adam Smith's concepts of capital are poisoned by the modern understanding of it because of Marx?

Completely.

Once you see how Saul Alinsky, then Howard & Piven weaponized the economy. Then see how Kensian economics said print money, you will see the problems are too entrenched to ever resort back to Adam Smith.

The USD is going to be devalued in a way we have never seen before. Just see how Bitcoin’s value has sky rocketed from a $4k low in 2020 to $40k+ now.

Central planning is the marxist way. I know that much. That is the "organizing" commies so often talk about.

What do we do to convince against it? People have become intoxicated by it. Just look at BLM and how they get action out of people that should not be sympathetic to their cause

Wow. Talk about a redpill. I do not have a good handle on economics. Need more study.

Huh, why do you need this? I feel like this would be a fun challenge but this would take me a lot of time. Tagging this topic to see if anyone has it.

Having read the communist manifesto myself it seems like the problems points out are in fact problems but the manifesto attributes the problems to the wrong causes and its solution are in fact the very causes of the problems.

I am interested in creating a lecture series against communism and I am writing a little bit each day. Just want some source materials.

The form of Marx's argument is flawed from the start. Just look at the labor theory of value. It's easily refuted as a premise. Simply note the value of undeveloped land. Or note how the locksmith who takes an hour to get your van opened up hasn't provided any more value to you than the locksmith who takes ten minutes. Value is in the eye of the beholder, and the beholder varies dramatically - hence the existence of the market.

I thought history did that. Every time it's implemented, tons of people die horrifically.

I do love reading. Currently working on Solzhenitsyn and reading Mark Dice's Hollywoor Propaganda. I am very interested in propaganda, too. I know it has a negative connotation, but it is going to be used by our enemies without a doubt. I feel we have to fight fire with fire. Control the public lexicon.
