What’s always bothered me about the left is their hypocrisy. If you want to be outraged about a minor drinking alcohol - fine. But I want that same outrage when anyone else commits minor offenses and you better be fucking livid when actual violent crimes are committed. Sadly they’re not like that. And I’ll bet a large sum of money whoever wrote this article drank alcohol at least once before he or she was 21.

I grew up with it.

My relatives made wine and let me have some when I was...four? Preschool, anyway. Made sure I knew to sip it.

There was always beer in the house.

Maybe that's why I grew up without any alcohol addiction issues. I can take it or leave it -- and I haven't had any in years.

My parents let me and my siblings taste alcohol as well, mostly in combination with food, lo and behold, we're not raging alcoholics! I don't even drink alcohol, at all!
