They are going to say it is a symbol of hate since it was carried by the "insurrectionists" that stormed the Capitol. And that it is a painful reminder of the systemic racism that has plagued America since its inception. The new flag will have lots of red, some black, and no stars or stripes.

They'll start with a new BLM or LGBTQ flag that's a bit more similar to the US flag. Phase it in. Then when it's equally adopted to the flag, they'll slowly change it.
