communism isn't their ideology, its the tool they use to have zealous troops fight for free in their takeover. just like the kings of old used religion to justfiy their divine authority. paying troops or mercenaries is far more expensive, and opens you up to liability if they are caught with your colors on their uniforms. if you can have a bunch of "independent" cells all working towards your aims. planning and carrying out operations which benefit you without ever having to lift a finger, and none of it can be traced back to you. why thats the best case scenario, you get to sit back and rake in the benefits. amazon stock 2x while we suffer.
