Cryptocurrency, but the User eXperience needs to be vastly improved. Maybe de-banking deplorables will force the improvements.

I consider the wallets more user friendly than traditional banking, it's not really a problem of user experience it's just a matter of what people are used to.

You simply can't make many purchases with crypto because the value is so unstable.

True dat. There are "stablecoins", though (USDC, TUSD, USDT, DAI), that match the dollar, however they are accepted for purchase in even fewer places than Bitcoin (right now), so not much help there.
