True dat. There are "stablecoins", though (USDC, TUSD, USDT, DAI), that match the dollar, however they are accepted for purchase in even fewer places than Bitcoin (right now), so not much help there.
Cryptocurrency, but the User eXperience needs to be vastly improved. Maybe de-banking deplorables will force the improvements.
