I’ve recommitted to cutting the cord completely after this. Tossing my cable box today. Why pay for shit I don’t watch and support people who hate me / us? Fuck them. The few shows or movies I’m interested in will be pirated like the old days.
This is easier said than done. It means no: Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Disney, Hulu, no Chinese companies or items, nothing owned by a liberal or RINO. Those groups own a LOT of stuff.
There isn’t a smartphone I could use, for example. And I need one for my work. It’s a problem. We need more conservative options in tech and online megastores especially.
Start with the easier stuff. Facebook, Twitter and Reddit are easy. As for Microsoft and Apple, keep your current products but don’t buy new ones at this point in time. Disney and Hulu can easily be done without. Use the firefox web browser or some other open source and use the add blocker to keep google from making easy cash off you.
We can slow down the finances be funneled in to these companies and that will make an impact.
