I used to play and design tabletop role-playing games as a hobby. In the 80's, I ran a game where US citizens all has an ID card with a magnetic strip that tracked certain behaviors. Your "social participation" score included public show of support for certain candidates and philosophies (although the vote was just as rigged in the game as it is now), along with things like verified sexual encounters of various types, etc.

The player characters were fighting in the resistance, trying to find ways to establish communication between groups of isolated citizens, etc. I wonder if anyone from that old gaming group will notice that their old tabletop game is coming to life.
